Tortious Interference with a Business Relationship

Recovery for tortious interference with prospective business relations must be limited to conduct that was independently tortious or wrongful. The plaintiff “must prove that the defendant’s conduct would be actionable under a recognized tort.” Conduct that is merely “sharp” or unfair is not actionable, and cannot be the basis of an action for tortious interference with business relations. 52 S.W.3d at 726.
